For generations, authentic Atreyapuram Putharekulu carried stories of celebration, family, and craftsmanship. But somewhere along the way, heritage sweets became ordinary - sold in bulk, packed without emotion, and stripped of the experience they truly deserved.
Sweet Duet was created to change that. Every box we send is designed to feel thoughtful, premium, and emotionally meaningful - from the delicate handcrafted layers to the elegant presentation and careful delivery process.
We work closely with skilled women artisans in Atreyapuram who continue the original craft using techniques passed down through generations. Our responsibility is to preserve this heritage and present it with the respect, quality, and luxury it deserves.

A delicate batter is made from indigenous Jaya rice - the only rice strain that yields the paper-thin sheets.
Hand-Spun Sheets
Skilled women artisans spin gossamer sheets on a hot inverted clay pot - the technique that defines Atreyapuram.

Sheets are layered with desi ghee, jaggery or sugar, and premium dry fruits - folded into the iconic roll.

The GI Tag
Protected by India. Authenticated by origin.
Atreyapuram Putharekulu carries a Geographical Indication tag from the Government of India - the only Indian sweet protected by GI. This means only Putharekulu made in Atreyapuram, using the traditional technique, can legitimately carry the name.
